Yes, yes...I'm sure you all thought I'd given up on this site. To be honest, I did, for a while. The forum kept getting hacked, and when the forum wasn't being hacked...the old server itself was. I spent more time fixing this site than actually using it. I had bigger and more important things to do at the time, and I'm sorry for the disappearance!
...It didn't help that Centaur themselves weren't doing much of anything either =D
I'm afraid I have no new Centaur or Hum news to share. I'm not in constant contact with them anymore, but I'll inform them the site is back online and I should be notified if anything interesting is on the horizon.
I'm keeping the forum offline until I can find a suitable replacement for PHPBB. Fuck PHPBB, honestly. If it gets hacked again, I'm NOT fixing it! /rage

The Great Cover Up is a highly anticipated Champaign tradition. The area's best local bands come out and cover a band or theme, and much fun is had by all. 2 years ago, Pink Floyd was Centaur's choice. This year, who knows? They're already known to cover Thunderclap Newman, John Lennon, and Chris Isaak. I dunno about you, but I'm psyched.

In other Centaur news...don't think there is any. I'm not sure if their plans to start recording at the end of the year are in effect or not.

just a quick heads up...
a login permissions problem was reported to me and it has now been resolved. if you were receiving error messages upon logging in before, you should be all set now!
i converted our YaBBSE forum into a PHPBB forum, and in the process...due to database encryption, the converter couldn't transfer your passwords so it gave you new ones. there was nothing i could do about it, and i'm sorry for the hassle.
so...if you wish to keep your account, i need you to click here. you will need to enter the email address you use for your centaur board account, and the board will email you a new password notification. you will need to click the link in the email to get your new password. please use it to login and change your password back to normal.
